EquiTrust is a privately held company located in Houston, Texas, with investments primarily in real estate and debt instruments collateralized by real estate. Our partners of EquiTrust have over 50 years of combined experience in real estate. Through decades of experience, EquiTrust’s has the foresight and vision to see unique opportunities often missed by other investors. What We Do

EquiTrust’s real estate activities include new development, redevelopment, and the management of its real estate holdings; with an emphasis in distressed real estate. Our real estate portfolio spans multiple asset classes and includes single family homes, land, industrial complexes, retail, office, and multi-family properties throughout Texas and Louisiana. 

EquiTrust also specializes in the acquisition, servicing, restructuring, and disposition of both distressed and non-distressed mortgages and other debt instruments collateralized by real estate. We works with banks, financial institutions, private equity funds, and individual debt holders to acquire such debt.

EquiTrust Holdings manages our extensive and ever-growing portfolio of real estate entirely in-house. Our focus is on income-producing properties with the potential for high appreciation. The properties managed by EquiTrust Holdings include but are not limited to the following categories:

EquiTrust Acquisitions

EquiTrust Real Estate Acquisitions is focused on acquiring distressed commercial and residential real estate from foreclosure auctions, financial institutions, and distressed property owners. While such properties face challenges that make them less desirable or marketable at first glance, we pride ourselves in recognizing their value and formulating the creative solutions necessary to close the complex deals to acquire them. Our substantial, privately funded cash reserves also mean that we can make an offer and close these deals within 1 to 2 days.

EquiTrust Receivables

EquiTrust Receivables specializes in the acquisition, servicing, restructuring, and disposition of mortgages and other debt instruments collateralized by real estate. This division’s portfolio consists of both performing and non-performing debt. Our strength lies in acquiring non-performing debt from banks, financial institutions, private equity funds, and individual debt holders with the goal of restructuring them to find amicable solutions for both borrowers and lenders.

EquiTrust Development

EquiTrust Development is responsible for making investments in commercial and residential real estate development projects. This division enjoys an established track record of successfully developing and redeveloping multiple projects in the greater Houston area, including retail buildings and single and multi-family homes.
